Following Mondays nights announcement regarding the Corona virus pandemic the workshops will be closed to all but Key workers and then only if it is a necessity. We are waiting confirmation from the government as to how they intend to proceed. At the moment you will still need to have a valid MOT and MOT stations are being advised to stay open but this may depend on the their financial and family situations.
We are NOT a MOT station but use a local station next door which is currently closed. We would advise if you need a MOT or have one booked that you contact your local station to arrange it.
As Only essential journeys for food, medicine and going to work for key workers are allowed this means that 99% of customers should not be visiting us to have work undertaken in the next few weeks. We understand this is an inconvenience but it is very important to stick to this advice. When we work on your cars we have to touch your steering wheel, gear stick etc to be able to carry out our jobs this leaves a high risk of contamination. One of our technicians fiancé is a care worker, and Wayne has had pneumonia and pleurisy so protecting them as well as our customers is very important.
I have diverted our phone lines to my mobile and will be answering these and picking up emails. If you are a key worker and need your vehicle looking at then please contact us first. The gates will be closed and locked and will only be opened by prior arrangement. We can still supply parts as required to other garages please phone to arrange this. I will be working alone as the rest of my staff are staying at home and I will only be coming into work by prior arrangement.
Thank you for your support and patience during this time.
